The Biobehavioral Research Lab (bbr.ucr.edu) is seeking a motivated full-time postdoctoral researcher to join the CATSLife2 project, the Colorado Adoption/Twin Study of Lifespan behavioral development and cognitive aging (CATSLife2), an NIA/NIH-funded research project to conduct research applying advanced statistical, genetic and geospatial methods for understanding associations between early life and proximal influences that influence cognitive functioning up to and across the midlife transition. The CATSLife2 team includes researchers at the University of California-Riverside, University of Colorado-Boulder, Kings College London as well as Pennsylvania State University and University of Texas at Austin.
The successful candidate will work closely with Dr. Chandra Reynolds, contact PI, with opportunities to interact with other team member within and across sites. Opportunities to develop research projects will include evaluating lifespan pathways associating early life and recent environments and experiences to adult cognitive functioning, biomarkers, and health outcomes. Leveraging longitudinal, genetic and geospatial methods and approaches are encouraged. Participating in data management, manuscript preparation and scientific presentations will be a part of the expected work. The successful candidate will benefit from mentorship with respect to substantive and methodical approaches, publication opportunities, grantsmanship and professional development.

The postdoc salary will be $53,460-$61,800 depending on experience. The appointment starts in December and will be for one year with the possibility for additional reappointment for an additional year(s) contingent on performance and available funding.
