The Faculty Associate will work under the supervision of the Chair, Department of Physics, and will support a research program within the department within the Remote Sensing Center (RSC) at the Naval Postgraduate School. The Faculty Associate will participate in research programs and projects in coordination with the Director, Remote Sensing Center. Duties will primarily be in operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, and conducting research under the supervision of RSC faculty.
Operation of remote sensing instrumentation for the collection of data. Systems include
Spectrometers used to measure the reflectance of materials on the ground or in the laboratory. Equipment includes ASD spectrometers. (ASD Fieldspec 4)
