Summary Description: The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Scientist to conduct research in the field of glaciology. The PDRS will use field observations, satellite remote sensing, and/or numerical modelling to understand the processes controlling the drainage of meltwater across and through ice sheets and ice shelves. They will have the opportunity to take a leading role in a field campaign in Greenland, though prior field work experience is not required. The successful candidate will join a project team led by Meredith Nettles and Jonathan Kingslake at LDEO and Laura Stevens, University of Oxford.
