Field/Lab Data collection & analysis (70%) – Expertise and attention is needed at all times in order to effectively collect and accurately analyze data associated with the research projects in our group. Given the many on-going projects, you must look for means to improve work efficiency, while maintaining data integrity.
Data interpretation (20%) – All data collected has to be appropriately interpreted to answer appropriate research questions associated with individual projects. The person in this position will work with the supervisor to accurately interpret data sets collected and analyzed associated with coastal projects. This might include working in spreadsheet (e.g., excel), graphing, and geospatial programs.
Lab safety & Compliance (10%) – Maintain a safe working environment throughout our laboratories. Daily, weekly and monthly inspections is expected in this position. This position will help spearhead all safety inspections in our research laboratories.
