Department: IU Bloomington Earth and Atmospheric Sciences
A postdoctoral position is available in hydro(geo)logical modeling at the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at Indiana University. We are particularly interested in those who have experience in large-scale watershed analysis and modeling. A strong computational background is required; and other desirable skills, include GIS, remote sensing, machine learning, and statistical analysis. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a large multi-disciplinary team to assess changes in hydrology and ecology in a changing climate and take advantage of Indiana University's state-of-the-art, powerful, high-performance computing facilitates.
Initial appointment for the position is one year, and can be extended to the second year upon successful performance.
PhD in Earth Sciences or related/relevant fields
Applicants must demonstrate strong interest in transdisciplinary research.
